Iowa women legislators oral history project, 1988-1994.

This collection contains interviews with 53 women who served in the Iowa legislature. All the legislators were asked basic questions about their birth and family background, their youth and education, and paid and volunteer work experience. They were also questioned concerning their legislative careers. The interviews are organized alphabetically, and there is a topical index included with each transcript.
